So the industry is gradually moving towards harmonized European standards.

For the moment, the British Standards Institution is reviewing which European test method will replace BS 476 for shoot-related applications, particularly as part of updating BS 1703 2005. And of course, we will transition to any new standards as and when they are officially adopted.

Since the launch of the Your Home, Your Safety campaign, we recognise the need to further develop our reporting systems.

Using our software app, everything is captured on site in real time, including photos, notes, actions and the time and date stamps so nothing is missed.

This creates a complete audit trail and maintains what we call the golden thread of information. Most importantly, it gives customers reassurance, helps them demonstrate compliance, and ensures residents’ safety is properly evidenced and not just assumed.
