Often landlords and managing agents employ people to do weekly checks. That’s part of the new building safety regulation.

Competency means sharing knowledge, not guarding it

What do they need to look for when they look at chutes? What are some of the warning signs? Because this is weekly, we might only come once a quarter or twice a year. But what are they going to be looking for?

We provide CPD accredited training for these people. Which gives context to their role. It’s provided without charge. And the reason is because the information we provide is for public good, not competitive advantage.

We’re not that daft, we don’t think that that’s necessary. But what that does is it gives these people involved in weekly checks greater confidence and more job satisfaction knowing that they know what to look for and guess where we got that training from?
