Hydro Chute was built on the back of an established cleaning business.
Hydro Chute was established from an experienced specialist cleaning business. Refuse chute cleaning has always been, and remains, a core part of our work, helping to keep chute systems hygienic and free from combustion loading. This build-up, typically caused by solidified fats, oils, and proteins from food waste adhering to chute walls, can increase fire risk if left unmanaged.
Through our hands-on involvement with chute systems in high-rise residential buildings, hospitals, hotels, and other complex environments across the UK, we developed a deep understanding of how these systems perform in real-world use. As a result, several larger clients approached us for support with the replacement, repair, servicing, and ongoing maintenance of their chute systems, seeking a reliable and trusted long-term solution.
Hydro Chute was born
We set out to redefine chute equipment manufacturing by improving fire compliance, user experience, and durability. Our in-house engineers, trained by BRE in refuse chute inspection, testing, servicing, and installation, receive industry-leading, exclusive technical education supported by our own training program. With qualified fire risk assessors and strong fire-stopping credentials, we ensure full in-house competence.
As a result of the pursuit of excellence:
